El Septimo Cognac completed the first-ever
cask finish with an ex-wine cask from the
Bordeaux Margaux wine region supplied by
Château Desmirail, a famous Grand Cru
Classé in 1855.
This cognac is the result of a close
collaboration between Comandon and
Château Desmirail which selected the cask
after a detailed review from tasting the 2004
Grande Champagne before its second cask
aging.
This limited edition is marking history with
pioneering innovation in the cognac cask
maturation employing a cask from one of the
most revered wine region in the world.
Released exclusively for the first time, this rare
cognac is not one to miss!

NOSE Some sweet aromas with vibrant oak
spice and candied fruits.
PALATE Warm pastry creme and sweet toasted
grain with bold ginger spices, merging
into crisp vanilla tastes.
FINISH Rich desert wine lingering into toasted
macademia nuts, with a long simmering
taste of custard and dark honey.
